Who Are We

 

Incorporated in 2003 as a joint venture between the Academy of Principals (Singapore) and the Singapore Economic Development Board, Principals Academy Inc (PAI) was established in response to the national vision of developing Singapore into a thriving international education hub and it was launched by then Minister of Education, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam (now the President of Singapore, from 2023 - Present).

PAI is a leading provider of education resources, offering Professional Development, Accreditation, Consultancy and Enrichment through strategic collaboration and partnerships that will enrich the education environment in the region. PAI serves as the gateway in providing Educational Services and Materials for educational institutions in the Asian region.

As there is a growing demand to seek guidance on school operations, evaluation, enrichment and improvement, PAI has embarked on an important journey including close consultation with an educational curriculum and assessment expert from OECD with strong referencing to international research and best practice, to develop IMPACT, a Global School Benchmarking, Evaluation and Enablement Programme designed to explore, analyse and report on a school’s accomplishments and to identify opportunities for further growth and development. It is the latest strategic development by Principals Academy Inc (PAI) to offer schools around the world specific and targeted consultation in response to the developmental needs of schools addressing a broad spectrum of growth and performance, spanning newly emerging schools in less developed economies and education systems to leading schools that provide high-quality and rich education for their students together with outstanding academic results.
